According to an AP article published yesterday, efforts for the oil spill clean-up off the New Orleans, LA coast continue. Crews & scientists have begun dumping hundreds of thousands of gallons of an unapproved "dispersement" liquid into the ocean around the spill in hopes that the few tests they have conducted with the concoction will prove fruitful in breaking up the oil.

Bad Gas Breeds Car Woes

Water laden gas has begun cropping up at local Southeast Texas convenience stores. Several residents have reported problems with water in their gas tank, presumably from filling up their tanks with contaminated fuel.

Federal Judge says Prayer Holiday violates Est. Clause

The National Day of Prayer, celebrated in the U.S. for more than a half-century, has been ruled unconstitutional by federal judge Barbara Crabb.
In a 66-page opinion issued Thursday (April 15, 2010), U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb said the holiday violates the "establishment clause" of the First Amendment, which creates a separation of church and state.
